Expert assessment on Powertrain architecture layout

  • The analysis of the high voltage architecture of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 AWD 72.6 kWh describes in detail the main high voltage circuits and subsystems associated with the 400V/800V capabilities of the vehicle, including charging strategy.

High power charging testing at extreme temperatures

  • IDIADA has developed a charging system that can reach the highest power level available on the market (up to 500 kW), allowing vehicles to use as much power as their charging and energy management strategies allow.
  • This unique facility also features a climatic chamber ranging from -30ºC to 50ºC allowing a wide variety of charging conditions to be reproduced.

High quality reporting

  • A detailed analysis of the charging performance and power energy flow during DC fast charging at different temperatures is presented. This includes power energy flow between the grid and the battery, i.e., including the energy consumption of all the auxiliaries involved during the process. Special features such as V2L capabilities are also studied.
  • High power

    charging

  • More than 15 vehicles tested

    in two years

  • Vehicle comprehensive

    instrumentation

  • In-depth analysis with more than

    50 diagrams discussed in report
